1. Agreement to Terms

By hiring GDA Power Washing (“Contractor,” “we,” “our,” or “us”), the client (“Client,” “you,” or “your”) agrees to the following Terms & Conditions. These terms apply to all services provided.

2. Services Provided

GDA Power Washing provides exterior cleaning services including, but not limited to: pressure washing, window cleaning, and gutter cleaning. Scope of work will be defined in the estimate or invoice.

3. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

Provide clear and safe access to all work areas, including access to a water source and electricity if required

Remove or secure fragile items, decorations, furniture, vehicles, and personal property from service areas

Ensure all windows and doors are closed and properly sealed prior to service

The Contractor is not responsible for damage to items left in service areas.

4. Pricing, Payment & Collections

Pricing is based on the scope of work, size of area, and condition of surfaces

Payment is due upon completion unless otherwise agreed in writing

Late payments may be subject to additional fees

Deposits may be required for certain jobs

Collections Clause:

In the event any amount(s) is/are referred to a third-party debt collection agency, the Client agrees they will be responsible for a collection fee of up to 40% of the principal amount(s) owing as allowed by Utah Code Annotated §12-1-11, as well as applicable interest, court costs, and reasonable attorney’s fees.

These terms apply to all amounts incurred by the Client or by any individual for whom the Client has legal responsibility, whether such amounts are incurred now or in the future.

5. Cancellations & Rescheduling

Clients must provide at least 24 hours’ notice for cancellations or rescheduling

The Contractor reserves the right to reschedule due to weather, safety concerns, or unforeseen circumstances

6. Liability & Standard of Care

The Contractor will perform all services with reasonable care and professionalism.

The Contractor will repair or reimburse for damage caused directly by Contractor negligence, in accordance with applicable insurance coverage.

The Contractor is not responsible for pre-existing conditions, including but not limited to:

Cracks, oxidation, leaks

Loose gutters or siding

Worn or peeling paint

Aging roofing or concrete

Improper seals or installation

7. Limitations of Liability

The Contractor is not liable for:

Water intrusion through improperly sealed windows, doors, or siding

Damage to landscaping or plants affected by water, cleaning solutions, or equipment

Damage resulting from hidden defects, electrical hazards, pest infestations, or unsafe conditions unknown to the Contractor

If the Client specifically directs the Contractor to clean or pressure wash a particular surface or item, the Client accepts all associated risk and agrees the Contractor will not be held liable for resulting damage.

8. Satisfaction & Acknowledgment of Risk

The Client acknowledges that exterior cleaning services involve water pressure and cleaning agents, which may reveal or worsen existing weaknesses.

The Contractor is not responsible for damage caused by structural issues, improper installation, or pre-existing damage.

The Contractor maintains active business and liability insurance. Any valid claims will be handled in accordance with insurance policy terms.

9. Weather & Service Conditions

Services may be delayed or rescheduled due to weather conditions, including rain, wind, freezing temperatures, or unsafe working conditions.

10. Right to Refuse Service

The Contractor reserves the right to refuse or stop work if conditions are unsafe, hazardous, or not as described at the time of estimate.

11. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Utah.

12. Changes to Terms

GDA Power Washing reserves the right to update these Terms & Conditions at any time. Updated terms will be posted or provided to clients as applicable.
